Saturday 18th March, 2023 - Probably Dead
Another week of great javascript, tech and web development links
Hello and welcome to my newsletter!
Another season 2 instalment…
It’s very early in the week. Very very early. It’s Saturday and last week’s issue just went out 3 mins ago. At least I hope it did, it should have done. It was a horrid week last week and I wrote that issue mid week because I could tell things were going to go badly.
This week has only begun and I have already been facing rather high blocking and I’m going to guess that’s likely going to continue, and if past experience is anything to go by it will escalate and escalate until total destruction of the multiverse. There’s nothing I can do about it. It happens no matter what I do.
But I’ll have at least a bit of piece of mind knowing that I have an issue scheduled to go out. The irony is that this is exactly what I used to do. I used to schedule up several empty issues in advance, but that wasn’t acceptable to the world, so I stopped. Now it seems the world has changed its mind again and wants me to do things in advance. Ok world, have your little tantrum. No worries.
If this is to be the end, this came through in the last few days, probably quite an appropriate Podcast episode to go out on. It reminds me of my first Glastonbury festival about 20 years ago now. At the time they didn’t have such big fences and the atmosphere was very similar to what they describe. They were apparently twice over capacity as well. It was very much a magical experience, similar in spirit to the stories I hear from people returning from Burning Man. Here’s to music festivals.

That’s all from me…
