Saturday 18th February, 2022 - Learning from dead end adventures
Another week of great javascript, tech and web development links.
Hello and welcome to my newsletter!
Another season 2 instalment…
[Sending this out again because I mucked up the date earlier. Anyway good opportunity to wish you a happy 2022. Here’s a photo I snapped the other day, 2022 decorations are still up]
Hopefully you’ve had a great week. I’ve a few minutes spare to send out a small edition this week.
I reached some dead ends on several feature branches I had been working on. That was a bit disappointing but I was able to salvage many of the good things I learnt along the way by copy and pasting into a learnings-from-adventure branch. Not super elegant, but I got it all merged into main and it’s working. The code is much better for it too. Onwards.
The 2 best podcast I’ve heard this past week were:
Techmeme Ride Home - Twitter Space - What is a Dao? with Brady Dale - Worth a listen for some really interesting discussion about the future of web 3
Pirate Radio by 20000 Hz Podcast - Amazing audio production and a bit of music history, from back when DJs had to make their shows from onboard ships clandestinely broadcasting from out at sea
That’s all from me…
Best reguards,
Mark
