Apple to save the children, SpaceX buys Swarm, DeFi, Jamstack and Crypto/Web3.0, Vue, Designing for safety
Hello and welcome to my newsletter!
Another season 2 instalment…
Circumstances conspired against me this morning and I missed the usual time I send the newsletter out.
I’m down to 6% battery, so no idea if I’ll be able to send one of these out next week.
The news seems to all be about Apple saving the children this week.
Hey Apple, how about making it easier to find a power cable that works in your devices? Oh your too busy saving the children, meanwhile some of us that have been using your products for years and years are dying here.
Just in case this does end up being my last newsletter, thanks for reading, I’ve enjoyed putting these together. Wish you all the best.
That’s all from me this week…
I hope you enjoy the links!
As usual all the articles from the linkblog in chronological order are included below, which is also a good way to explore, there are some pieces there amongst the main summary items that didn’t make it into the main themes, but these are interesting in their own right, and often end up developing into something more substantial further down the line.

Stuff from me
It’s that weekly thing again where my power cable stops working right after I publish the newsletter, still no place open to buy power cables, just spent over an hour trying to get my device charging, down to 8% power now, looks like this is how it all ends, goodbye cruel cruel world, maybe other worlds are available, I just want to build websites, surely that’s not too much to ask wikipedia.org #
I got my device charged again, but I had to position the power cable in the weirdest and most contorted way, every moment could be my last, I hate this situation wikipedia.org #
